Fly to the islands for fun?  Nah.  Fly to the islands for fish!  The most sought after game fish in the world is the blue marlin.  An average of 400 blues over 300 pounds are taken or tagged annually off the Kona Coast.  In addition to that, over the years there has been at least one 1,000 pounder caught in each month of the year.  There are also plentiful striped marlin and an occasional black marlin.  During the summer months you can be assured that big, yellowfin tuna will find your bait too much to resist.  This powerful fish averages 150 pounds.  You will also find wahoo and mahi mahi.
