This lodge offers limited geniune wilderness hunts for black bear.  The reason the term limited is used is because they are in a provincial park.  The Whiteshell Park is over 100 square miles and they are the sole outfitter in all allocated area of approximately 20 square miles.  Their present quota is 8 for black bear.  They also refer to their hunts as genuine, as they are in the wild and removed from civilization to a great extent.  The terrain is demanding and the animals are unaccustomed to human presence.
