Winter mountain lion hunts offer a great opportunity during the off season to keep hunting.  Idaho has a liberal mountain lion season and this outfitter hunts from December through March.  This outfitter has exclusive commercial hunting rights for an area of over 700 square miles for mountain lion hunting in central Idaho.  They have been raising and training hounds for over 30 years.  Idaho is the premier hunting state for mountain lion with more in the B&C record book than any other state.

Accommodations for the Hunter
On guided hunts, you and your guide will ride a horse into a comfortable wall tent base camp. These camps include a hunters sleep tent with cots, foamies and wood burning stove.
On drop camp hunts, you and your packer will ride into a comfortable camp where he will familiarize you with the area. These camps consist of a wall tent, complete kitchen equipment, wood stove, Coleman stove, table, cots, lantern, ax, shovel, and other necessary items to make your camp comfortable.
