The area this outfitter hunts offers opportunity to hunt mule deer either in the early or late fall. The early fall hunt takes place in September and early October, in the high rocky basins and lush alpine slopes of the Monashee Mountains. Hiking, glassing and spot and stalk are the ideal methods used for harvesting a trophy mule deer. Accommodations for this high country hunt are tents. The last week of October and the first two weeks of November is our late rut hunt. Still hunting, rutting ranges and watching migrating routes is a very productive method used for harvesting a big rut buck. Late season hunters stay in a lodge or cabins.
