Oklahoma's rifle season coincides with the rut, making this a great time to harvest a trophy whitetail deer.  The main methods here is spot and stalk since many of the properties are a mixture of open prairies, wooded draws and ridges.  Your guide will set up with you on a high point on a edge of a prairie and glass for bucks chasing does or crossing open areas.  This hunt requires a good set of binoculars and a spotting scope is a plus.
